I agree, while there were some aspects of the program itself that I
didn't like, SurfControl did (still does) work reasonably well with
ISA2006.  

But, they are not going to continue selling SurfControl after the first
half of next year.  They will support existing installations of it until
2011, but there will be a concentrated effort to migrate everyone to
WebSense instead.

Since we are going to have to install another product soon (not much of
a choice), it is a good time to start looking at our options.  

Right now we have a pretty short list:
1. Continue on with SurfControl, and replace it with WebSense when it
comes time (might require additional hardware).
2. Replace it with the new version of GFI's WebMonitor.
3. Integrate a separate network appliance with filtering options (Ugh!).

I'm going go to even consider blacklist/whitelist options...

The news about Websense share-in surfcontrol has been listed in
Surfcontrol
website for several monthes already, however I believe it is good
product
still.
