Hi Andrew, So, what do you recommend that is different than the guidance I've provided? What is your interpretation of the MS way? How does Mats current implementation deviate from the MS way? Thanks! Remember Tom Microsoft knows better than you do. Sure they pay big bucks but that doesn't mean a lot in this day in age. Just let him do it MS's suggested way, if it works then I suggest he remove the cache and see if still works after that. :-) Andrew ________________________________ From: Thomas W Shinder [mailto:tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 10:59 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: ISA 2004 and OWA once again http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Mats, Your deployment and Andrews are quite different. One fact you need to keep in mind: YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENABLE the WEB CACHE. You only need to do that if: * You want to use that feature or * You can to waste memory or * You feel bad that you paid for memory and aren't using it all or * You want to waste disk space or * You feel bad that you have unused disk space and you want to use all the space you paid for or * You want to get a question wrong on the ISA 2004 MCP exam :-) HTH< Tom ________________________________ From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 9:33 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: ISA 2004 and OWA once again http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Mats, I suggest you have a look at how Microsoft sets up OWA and maybe take some time and do it their way. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/isa/2004/plan/owapublishing.mspx The first time I did it this way from scratch it worked without a hitch.
