No, you can't.
NO, you won't try.
If you do try, and you have to call PSS (or worse yet; write to this
list), they'll tell you to bugger off until you configure it properly.
File shares use SMB (read: CIFS) protocols to get the job done. You can
create an access rule that allows this traffic from internal to local
host to make that happen.
NO, you don't create rules "for all unknown protocols".

I have a single Nic ISA2004 box that is also running File and print
services. The only function of ISA 2004 I wish to use is Cache.
Can you disable the firewall component?
I have used the single Network adapter template to start with.
I am seeing some denied traffic to things like Backup servers and Domain
controllers.
How do I allow all traffic to these servers including Unidentified IP
Traffic?
