Just one of those things I can fix but is annoying. "Undocumented features" tweak the anal want-to-know-everything-about-what-the-hell-my-machine-is-doing side of me. Basically IE sits there thinking when trying to load sites. Switch to manual proxy config from Autoconfig script, pointing to the servers that the script spells out, and all is well. Disable the result cache and all is well. Now I want to find where the cache is and how to get into it. -Shawn ----- Shawn R. Or, where is the cache located? Doesn't seem to be in the registry. I know how to disable it through hkcu\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\enableautoproxyresultcach e but I want to see if I can dig into it a little more, maybe see what's getting put in there that's making IE hang all over the place here. -Shawn ----- Shawn R.
