Hi Shobha, Not sure what is going on here. What function is the ISA Server performing and what is NetIQ doing? Thanks! All of them are using external domain for resolution. The alert is not coming for ISA box. I have infact NETIQ for URL connectivity. Its just check for the availability of URL. All other ISA servers have the same configuration and are used to server publish the applications. I have replaced the bad ISA server with a new one so that I can look into this in more detail. Isn't it a member of your internal network domain? What Alert are you getting before the machine stops responding? Thanks! Strange thing is it works for so long then suddenly all the connections are lost. I mean once I get the alert and check the connections on the server, there is none. -----Original Message----- From: Peter Forster [mailto:PForster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, January 27, 2003 4:30 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: I very weird Problem http://www.ISAserver.org Hi, you might want to check the following: Disk space, UPS/Power connections, pagefile size if all that checks out I would look at DNS. Are you publishing to a internal DNS server that has forwarding configured to an ISP DNS? It works for some time like 10 hrs and sometimes more than that and then sites get inaccessible. If I reboot the server, it starts working again but again the same behavior after couples of hrs. The server is listening on port 80 and 443 but no connections get established with the server. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem. By the way I have reinstalled the ISA server component on that box. I am planning to reinstall the OS on that box as next step as I can't find anything unusual. Any help is appreciated.
