The little I know about TFTP is that TFTP uses UDP/69 as the initial destination. The server then connects back from a random high UDP port to the original (high) source port of the client, and the conversation then continues between the two high UDP ports. A Cisco class I took brought this to light. There is no authentication so it's not something I would want to open ports for. Luckily I have dual boot so I booted to Win 2000 pro, problem solved. Something in XP-Pro was stopping TFTP getting through. Hope this helps.
