How to route LDAP calls through ISA ServerMy bad; you have to create the
protocol definition:
name: LDAP Server
protocol: TCP
direction: Inbound
local port: 3389
remote port: any
..no secondary connections

This may be a silly question. But I have tried that, one thing I cannot
figure out is how to make the LDAP Server Protocol appear for the Server
publishing list. It is not one of the available protocols I can select. It
has been a long to day so forgive me if I have over looked something.

  Thanks
  Mark

You need to create a Server Publishing rule that uses LDAP Server protocol
and maps the ISA external IP to the internal host IP.
Wait a few seconds or restart the FW service and enjoy the fun!
..make sure the external client can resolve the internal server name to the
ISA external IP that hosts the publishing rule.

I have an extranet site ip address is 192.168.2.1 I need it to make LDAP
requests through my ISA server that has an External IP address of 192.168.1.1.
I have a server on my internal network that will listen for the LDAP request
and its IP address is 10.0.0.1.

Can someone give me a little guidance on how to make this happen in ISA.

      Thanks
      Mark
