Just to add, 

the firewall client settings will apply to all firewall clients and not to
specific users.

 

So I think u should disable anonymous access and then close port 1863 for
specific users or groups .

Are you sure Clients are not SecureNAT ? you have to block all access to
anonymous account so that they don?t work as securenat clients 

 

Also u can disable MSN in firewall client settings by adding msnmgr.exe ,
key= disable and value =1 ( only of clients are firewall clients only)

 

 

But if proxy is enabled then msn will still connect unless ports are closed.

Also it will work for securenat if anonymous is not disabled.

Hi, hello list again,

I need block MSN Messenger to specific users in ISA 2004.

I block TCP 1863 but users can connect to MSN Messenger.

The clients are Firewall Clients

Which are the supposed connections of the MSN Protocol?

Any ideas?
