When you use the bandwidth monitor in the isa snap in to create
bandwidth policies you can assign them to AD users or you can create
specific client sets and assign those policies to them.

Subject: [isalist] How can I set the Bandwidth to clients

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hi all

I've a setup like this: I've a dedicated 128Kbps connection in our
office. I want to set a particular bandwidth say 8Kbps/16Kbps/32Kbps to
some computers. How can I achieve this?

I've set the Effective Bandwdith to 128Kbps. I've also created bandwidth
priorities for 8, 16, 32Kbps. Also I've created a bandwidth rule with
order 1, 2, 3 to 8,16,32 respectively. Now my question is how can I
attach this bandwidth rule to a particular client? I want to assign
8Kbps rule to some computers and 16Kbps to some and 32Kbps to some
computers in my network.

When I access the internet from the client, Iam getting more bandwidth
that I want to give to the client. How can I fix this problem?

Regards
Ram
