Not that I wan't to rile anybody, but I have just changed my ISA config
to request authentication and guess what??

Same result...I can connect, read send from my hotmail account through
outlook 2003 without issue..

Hi Dan,

I can assure you that is does *not* work if you're requiring
authentication for HTTP connections at the ISA firewall. I saw Steve's
policy, and it works because the HTTP communications don't require
authentication.
