That's incorrect.
The *first* place you go is "Network Template" during installation.
If the server has only one NIC and no dial-up adapter, then the
single-network template is the way to go. If it's set any other way,
change it.
"Port and packet forwarding" are non-terms to ISA.

Hello

You don't have to use templates as long as you know what to need. Don't
use port and packet forwarding option. Right click on firewall and use
publish web server. Then you can specify incoming request on http to be
forwarded to the ip address on inside server. Check this

Subject: [isalist] Help with new ISA setup

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello all,

I'm new to ISA and have the book open but am not making much progress.

I have a firewall currently in place but am adding an ISA 2004 server to
our current DMZ to set up reverse proxy for an internal front-end OWA
server. I'm not sure which template I should use, and I need to get
this set up quickly. I set up web publishing to an external IP
forwarding to an internal IIS server, but it's not connecting. I'm
seeing all kinds of traffic showing up in my ISA monitoring logs, so I'm
afraid i've opened up too much so I shut it down until I can figure out
what I'm doing.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for setting something like
this up? Initially I just want to test forwarding port 80 inbound to an
internal web server and then proceed from there once I can get that
working.

Thanks
