You should make sure that your DHCP server is handing out DNS, WINS,
Gateway, Etc.

Thanks Jason,
I followed ALL your directions but nothing, initially the vpn client was
not receiving an internal IP address but when I made the changes to the
DHCP server and RRAS the VPN client received the internal IP address but
network resources cannot be opened.
