You have authentication forced in your ISA settings, either in a rule or in the server outgoing listener properties. review all your rules and make sure they say "All Requests" Jim Harrison MCP(2K), A+, Network+, PCG ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fernando Melo" <frmelo1@xxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, September 08, 2001 7:43 PM Subject: [isalist] Re: Help: How to get Linux through ISA server? http://www.ISAserver.org I am having that securenat problem with ISA and Linux right now and have no idea how to configure it correctly. I created a protocol rule based on totally open access but I can't seem to get conqueror and netscape to work right. I have put the default gateway in the netcfg console and tried every possible configuration I can think of in the proxy section of both netscape in conqueror. In netscape I get the authentication screen and when I put in my credential it contacts my isa server but it just stays there. In conqueror, it simply states that authentication mode is invalid. Do you have any ideas? You also need SMTP protocol allowed. All web proxy request from cliets are routed to the Internet without problem. Linux is a single machine on the our network and having sendmail server installed. Senmail have configured to use ISP's SMTP service to send all outbound messages to the Internet users. Does anyone know what steps are involved within ISA server to allow a SecureNAT as mentioned above to pass through? Many thanks in advance, Sothun PS. I have gone through the SecureNAT client topic but there is no specific steps. ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: frmelo1@xxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
