You must be bridging SSL to http on your isa server then. Which kinda sucks
from a users point of view, because if people are forced to enter
https://mail.greg.cool then they expect the secure session to be carried
right through to the website. If you want to change it to
http://mail.steve.dumb then you need to change your publishing rule.

However, I would leave it as is for the moment, ssl connections are more
advisable, especially for owa or for connections that require the passing of
credentials.

If you wanted to do it properly. Lookup the publishing secure OWA sites that
Tom has written, get yourself a website certificate and have some fun.

Subject: [isalist] HTTP to HTTPS

http://www.ISAserver.org

when i type in the url to my OWA website i have to specify HTTPS or else it
fails with the following error "Page Cannot be Displayed" 403 forbidden.
Internally (On LAN) is ok, but from external i must put enter https. Can
anyone tell me how to fix this? I am running SBS2003 with ISA 2000 Feature
Pack 1. OWA works fine otherwise.

eg. if i enter the following it fails
mail.domainname.com.au
but when i enter https://mail.domainname.com.au it goes to OWA site.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Phil.
