No, I don't think so, I just re-read the new RFC2821 for any details
that
Might be harmful. I could not find any.

NOOP according to RPG 821

NOOP (NOOP)

This command does not affect any parameters or previously
entered commands. It specifies no action other than that
the receiver send an OK reply.

This command has no effect on any of the reverse-path
buffer, the forward-path buffer, or the mail data buffer.

So, no you should not have to change anything. I've seen "NOOP" used As
a way to see if there is an smtp server lurking out there. Kind of like
A way to sniff out mail servers.

Some businesses cannot email to our domain. Are there any security
issues the I should know about before increasing NOOP size in ISA Server
SMTP filter to 1024 bytes instead of default 6 bytes
