What files are you trying to block? If you look at the trial version or even the screenshots from GFI's Download Security you will see you can put any extension you want in the "blocked" list. Example if i want to block .jim files from being downloaded&nbsp; i would add it to the list. </FONT></DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial color=#000000 size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial color=#000000 size=2>You can also choose what policy you then apply&nbsp;to these files. That is, you can choose to quarrantine them to a folder for approval from the administrator or you can forget about them straight away. </FONT></DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>You can read through the features here</FONT></DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><A href="">http://www.gfi.com/dsec/dsecfeatures.htm</A></DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr>&nbsp;</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr>Greg</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> ><DIV dir=ltr><BR> ><HR tabIndex=-1> ><FONT face=Tahoma size=2><B>From:</B> MoDVision<BR><B>Sent:</B> Mon 26/07/2004 8:25 PM<BR><B>To:</B> [ISAserver.org Discussion List]<BR><B>Subject:</B> [isalist] GFI downloadsecurity Does not work to block downloading files<BR></FONT><BR></DIV> ><DIV><PRE style="WORD-WRAP: break-word">http://www.ISAserver.org > >GFI downloadsecurity Does not work to block downloading files, have you >idea how it works or any other way to block download files > >------------------------------------------------------ >List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist >ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp >ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ >------------------------------------------------------ >Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: >World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com >Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com >No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org >Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ >Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ >Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com >------------------------------------------------------ >You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: greg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx >To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ></PRE></DIV></BODY></HTML> > > >------------------------------------------------------ >List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist >ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp >ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ >------------------------------------------------------ >Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: >World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com >Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com >No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org >Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ >Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ >Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com >------------------------------------------------------ >You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: modvisionit@xxxxxxxxxxx >To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist
