He still breathes!

I've hit this using Quicken and WMP11 and finally quit trying.
Some applications just don't know how to use offline folders and choke
when the "actual" folder is unavailable.

Subject: [isalist] Freaky network issues

While not specifically ISA related...

I am having some very strange issues with my server / clients
After replacing some aging drives, and re-organizing the server's drives
I now can no longer set up offline files.

I used to have my companies "Quickbooks" database file located on a
software raid and set up to use offline with my laptop. I tried this
several ways with the new configuration and no every time I access the
quickbooks file, it tells me I am offline. This not only is an
aggravation, it also corrupts the database.

I really liked the offline files function and want it to function, but I
am out of ideas. I have recreated the RAID. I have moved it to another
drive.

It will work fine on the network drive as long as it's not an offline
file.
I have licked the server (no, it did not help it. It did help me) and I
am ready to scrape it and build a new server.

I am out of ideas, and lost my patients about 2 weeks ago.

Any BTDT's out there ?

Thanks in advance,

Mark
