Hi Wayne,

Is there a download section to get the ISAReset?

Thanks!

Dan,

If you ever get these types of errors, let me know and you can use
ISAReset
(in Beta) to capture a .dmp of the issue for the ISAPI Filter
developers.
It will also automatically restart your ISA services.

More info:

http://www.xcache.com/home/default.asp?c=67&p=810

Command Line:

ISARESET.EXE (c) Post Point Software 2005

Usage:
iisreset

/RESTART Stop and then restart all ISA services.
        /START Start all ISA services.
        /STOP Stop all ISA services.
        /REBOOT Reboot the computer.
/DUMP Create a MiniDump On Exception.
/REBOOTONERROR Reboot the computer if an error occurs when
starting, stopping, or restarting ISA services.
/NOFORCE Do not forcefully terminate ISA services if
attempting to stop them gracefully fails.
/TIMEOUT:val Specify the timeout value ( in seconds ) to wait
for
a successful stop of ISA services. On expiration
of this timeout the computer can be rebooted if
                        the /REBOOTONERROR parameter is specified.
The default value is 120s for restart, 60s for
stop,
                        and 20s for reboot.
/STATUS Display the status of all ISA services.
/ENABLE Enable restarting of ISA Services
                        on the local system.
/DISABLE Disable restarting of ISA Services
                        on the local system.

Subject: [isalist] Firewall Service Crashed...

http://www.ISAserver.org

ISA Server stopped responding, so I had to make a trip back into town to
see what was going on. Firewall service had crashed, so I rebooted.

Found the following three errors in the Application Event Log:

The Firewall service stopped because an application filter
module C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\ISAMON2.dll generated an
exception code C0000005 in address 251F1A7A when function
CompleteAsyncIO was called. To resolve this error, remove recently
installed application filters and restart the service.

Faulting application wspsrv.exe, version 4.0.2163.213, stamp
420bdbd0, faulting module isamon2.dll, version 2.0.0.2, stamp
40b1fcdf, debug? 0, fault address 0x00001a7a.

Due to an unexpected error, the service fwsrv stopped responding
to all requests. Stop the service or the corresponding process if
it does not respond, and then start it again. Check the Windows
event Viewer for related error messages.

I only have SurfControl and GFI WebFilter in as application filters
installed outside of ISA's. Any idea what might have caused this?
