Hi Paul,

Did you update the Firewall client settings on the client yet?

        Hello all,

I wonder if you could help with the firewall client and ISA
2004.
I have an application called SBClient (old informix piece of
software) that basically uses the telnet protocol. I do not want this
application to use the firewall client, so I have added sbclient.exe
into the Firewall Client Settings on the firewall itself and I have set
it to disable, but it still uses the client no matter what I do.

I have looked at the logs and the client agent says
sbclient.exe:3:5.1, so I also tried this name in the firewall settings
but still to no avail.

What else should I be looking at?

I don't want to fully go into why I do not want to use the
firewall client on this because the network configuration is very
confusing, but if I have to I will

        Thanks in advance

        Paul
