I tried that with no luck.

Microsoft seem to think it has something to do with the 8.3 file name
creation being disabled. I have checked the registry though, and it is
enabled on the machine.

Anyone else got some thoughts?

Cheers,
John

John,

I had the same problem with one of my Win9x client. I copied all files and
sub-folders under 'mspclnt' folder to error location manually and ran
setup from there.

That solved the problem for me.

Good luck.
