I've seen *.ani and *.anr you know those animated cursors that some
pages have, contain viruses. What is the best and fastest way to keep
an outlook for mime types?

Nice...
Duh, What am I - VIRUS ?

These pests just get simpler and simpler to spot.. Or am I just getting
smarter.
No, they are getting simpler :-)

I got one from my ISP (Rogers) looked real enough, but then I looked
real close at the attachment there way done near the end was a SCR
extension. They are never good when masquerading as an HTML file. Funny
thing was MacAfee did not see it as a virus. I suppose that should not
surprise me
