FTP Publishing

Hi all, I am attempting to publish an FTP Server using Server Publishing rules.
I have setup a rule to use the default "FTP Server" protocol, which I believe
uses the FTP application filter. Everything works if I connect to the FTP site
from the outside with Internet Explorer, but if I use command line FTP or other
FTP client software, it does not work (I get 425 error when I do 'ls').
Anyone know a fix for this?
