Are you clients supposed to be SecureNAT or Firewall Clients. I believe that if they're supposed to be SecureNAT, you have to allow IP Routing on the ISA Alain Van Hoffelen Support Engineer ComputerLand Avenue de l'Informatique 9 B-4432 Alleur Tel. +32 4 239 99 82 Fax. +32 4 239 89 09 http://www.computerland.be mailto:alain.vanhoffelen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Connor Moran [mailto:cpm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of isa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: mardi 5 février 2002 11:20 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Everything installed but no-body home... http://www.ISAserver.org Hi, We're trialling the following config using the 120-day eval for a client. W2K Server sp2 with all available updates. ISA 3.0 Standard. Intel EE/Pro 100B with Intel Driver 5.41.35 as private 192.168.0.x D-Link DSL100 PCI ADSL "modem" as gateway, installed as RFC 1483 (encapsulation over ATM), or in other words, all you need is the allocated IP/Gateway. W2K sees this device as an Ethernet Adapter and it has the DLink current driver v2.23. The install type for ISA was CUSTOM disabling H323 features, in integrated mode. After the install I created a basic Protocol Rule to allow DNS Query and HTTP. Testing with a browser gives me nothing. Testing with NSLOOKUP gives me no access to any DNS server I select. Jumping on the ISA machine, and browsing works no problem so my ADSL link is good. I can ping from my test client-side machine to the ISA internal NIC(interesting). I can even map a drive to the ISA machine from an internal server. The NIC/network is working. ISA's not creating any logs, there's no errors in Event Viewer. It appears as if ISA isn't there, but everything is installed and running? Any ideas?
