After looking at Tom Shinder article on INSTALLING ISA SERVER ON A
DOMAIN CONTROLLER I might want to start over. The version of ISA I have
is the 120 day version and as I understand it you have to uninstall and
reinstall the real version and if I'm going to do that I might as well
put my system down over a weekend (and pray all goes well that weekend)
If this is not a good idea can someone direct me?????!!!!????

What is the DNS server for that AD domain?
Is it the local AD controller?
If so, have you configured the DNS zone to accept dynamic updates?

I have ISA installed on my DC with Two NIC cards. I always get an eror
in
the system event like:
The DNS server for this DC does not support dynamic DNS. Add the DNS
records from the file '%SystemRoot%\System32\Config\netlogon.dns' to the
DNS server serving the domain referenced in that file.
Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed
because no DNS servers are available.
There is a Q267845 that talkes about this problem but i already have
service pack installed. and my files are as listed below
5-4-2001 5.0.2195.2785 Dnsapi.dll
" " 5.0.2195.2808 Netapi32.dll
" " 5.0.2195.2865 Netlogon.dll
Does anyone else have this problem??
