I guess that makes it 99.6935874125898% of the time, then...
I wonder what part of the WInsock error 11001 (host not found) has anything to 
do with the DNS server the ISA server uses?
..anyone..?

Have you tried changing the DNSs ISA points at?  Try to use another public DNS 
server, maybe from another ISP in your zone. That would help you to find out 
whether it is a problem of your provider's DNS or not. If it's not possible of 
doesn't work you can also try to have the DNS server running on your ISA 
machine resolving DNS names by itself, just for testing purposes.
