Hello All,
I am trying to use ISA to connect a small private network to the internet.
The connection through
the ISP has a dynamic IP address. That does not present a problem untill
you try to publish a service
to the outside. When publishing a service, for example, an SMTP server,
ISA requires that you
type in the external IP address. Is there a way around this? In Proxy 2.0
I could simply specify
the external interface and not need the IP address.
Before you ask, I realize that a dynamic external IP will cause DNS
problems. I have this
covered through a Dynamic DNS service. Works great on Proxy 2.0, but I'd
really like to
upgrade.
