Does the MX record need to be active? For example, I have received dupe posts,
and we have two MX records, but only one is actively receiving email - the
other MX does not even have a live IP assigned to it.

I am noticing that I and others are receiving duplicate posts.

I have noticed that if there is more than one MX record, the list is sending
the post to each MX record, thereby sending duplicates to those persons.
