Deletion of used Client Address Set

Hi all,
Someone deleted a Client Address set which is in use by a Protocol Rule (doh
;-) Now they get the error "At least one of the chosen client sets is not
valid." when they try to view the "Applies To" tab of the Protocol Rule.
I tried the following to fix this:
1. Re-create the deleted Client Address set (not working)
2. Tried to write a .vbs script which deletes the set from the protocol rule
definition but I don't know the method for deleting a set.
Can anyone provide quick help how to go on?
