Are you using IIS SMTP service to forward the mail through to your mail server? If so check the properties in the IIS SMTP service, by default there is a message size limit set. Anyone else out there ever see this.... It appears that I got the SMTP filter installed correctly. I did some tests and it appears that it is blocking the attachments that I configured. But now I am not able to receive attachments over 2mb. But if I disable the SMTP Filter I am able to receive attachments of all sizes. I do not have a filter created to block attachments of certain size either.... This is the undeliverable report that most users are receiving: The following recipient(s) could not be reached: 'Rohit Khanolkar' on 10/04/2002 5:25 PM The content length of the message is too long for the recipient to take delivery The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=Wisne;l=EXCHGSR1-021004212207Z-59151 MSEXCH:IMS:Wisne:Southfield:EXCHGSR2 3552 (000B09B6) 3322364 bytes exceeds server limit of 2097152 The exchange server shown in the report is the clients exchange server... I am able to receive email....It appears that the filters for the file attachments that I have created work...It is only files that are larger than a couple of mb that dont work... If I send an attachment from an ISP account to my corporate account, the message will not reach the destination....but once i disable to SMTP Filter, the message appears in the inbox within minutes...It appears to me that the SMTP Filter is blocking the emails for some reason... Any help would be greately appreciated..
