Hi Greg,

Check your firewall log and your Web Proxy log. There should be NO
entries from the SETI client in the Web Proxy log. If there is, the
Direct Access config wasn't done correctly.

        Tom,

I followed both the Microsoft Q article and your tutorial on
Direct Access - no luck with Seti. However, IE functions fine with this
config.

        Still looking.

        Hello all:

I need a tool to disable authenitcation for outgoing web
requests. Needed so that a client can send out, via http, Seti@home
work files after busines hours -- two o'clock AM. If not, does anyone
know of any way around to get Setiahome communicating via http?

        TIA

        Have fun!

        greg
