Your should reboot after configuring all that, and check on the event viewer the WLBS messages. There you could see what`s going on. But it seems that your servers are not working together on the same cluster, that`s why you get the IP conflict error. Hope it Helps. ---------------------------------------- Gabriel Zabal Systems Engineer. gabriel@xxxxxxxxxxx ---------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lim, Arthus T." <alim@xxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 03, 2002 7:45 AM Subject: [isalist] Re: Check NLB in ISA Array http://www.ISAserver.org This is what I did. Will someone tell me if I configured the NLB over ISA array correctly? Server 1 Cluster Parameters Primary IP Address I92.168.0.20 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Full Internet Name server1.courcompany.com Multicast Support Checked Host Parameters Priority 1 Initial Cluster Rate Active is checked Dedicated IP Address 192.168.0.16 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Port Rules Default Settings Server 2 Cluster Parameters Primary IP Address I92.168.0.20 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Full Internet Name server1.courcompany.com Multicast Support Checked Host Parameters Priority 2 Initial Cluster Rate Active is checked Dedicated IP Address 192.168.0.18 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Port Rules Default Settings Note that I added the VIP Address as a second IP address under the advanced section of TCP/IP properties for the load-balanced LAN Connection for the two servers. When I tried to surf, download, etc to check if I configured it correctly, I noticed in the ISA performance monitor that server 2 was the one who worked which should never be the case because I set first priority to server 1. Also, I get an IP conflict error because of 192.168.0.20 is configured as secondary IP in both servers. What are the errors I made and how can I address those errors? Please help me. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Gabriel Zabal [mailto:gabriel@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, August 02, 2002 9:07 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: Check NLB in ISA Array http://www.ISAserver.org I configured 2 servers in array mode. and NLB on the internal interface. I tested very much and it works right, it uses both servers. ---------------------------------------- Gabriel Zabal Ing. How will I know that it's really working? That if I use only 1 internal ip, both servers are working together. Please advice.
