Thanks for the response.
I have 2 NIC's in each member server.
NLB is set up in multicast mode.
No filters. Filter tab left to defaults.
Both the servers are connected to a switch.
I have gone through the W2K help for NLB.

I am going through the link. In the meantime, it will be great help if you
let  me know what you think might be the problem.

How many NICs on each member server?
Is NLB set up in unicast or multicast mode?
What are your filter settings in NLB?
Are you using a hub or switch to connect them together?
Have you read the W2K help regarding NLB?  There are lots of hints and tips
on using NLB in there.

Hi,

I am new to NLB. I just configured 2 servers with NLB and a common virtual
IP.

I am unable to ping the virtual IP address but can still get response from
the 2 servers individually.

Can anybody let me know what am I doing wrong.
