You of course, do know that Microsoft DNS is in fact bind with a pretty GUI
and without the usefulness? The zone files are the same...
So it would be akin to you having a .44 Desert Eagle while I strut around
with my .50AE, with a laser pointer and flashlight.
Views, my friend, are the most useful thing ever. Allows you to have a split
dns with only one DNS server.

You must be using a badly configured Unix based DNS server.
Because BIND *is* superior. Just not as fool proof ;)
