Well my e2k is not behind the ISA .. we have 2 PIX Firewalls in failover mode.. the reason we are having the ISA is for caching and to provide monitring and control of internet access... so far the caching is OK, but the controlled access to internet is what is a problem,. you had asked me to use Firewall client on the client machines, well I have tried everythig.. it either allowas users complete access to all internet or no access at all.. and the other thing that i noticed was that I had installed ISA Server om a test machine and tried to recreate the same scenario on that machine... it worked .. but only in the sense that...access is allowed to only the first site from the destination set that I want all users to be able to access.. other than that no other sites can they acess... I mean let me go back and explain the situation to you. I have 2 groups.. internet users group and group b which needs access to only 5 sites. I create these 2 groups and add users to these groups. I create a destination set that includes these 5 sites I create 2 site and content policies.. one allows full acces to complete internet, only to internet users group. The second site and content policiy allows access to the sepcific destination set to all users.. When i log in as user from group b, i can access only the first site in the order that is mentioned in the destination set. i can not access any other site from the destination site mentioned. Is there a reason to this -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, December 03, 2001 5:11 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: Cache http://www.ISAserver.org Nothing too deep; I can help you get the E2K server talking through the ISA, but that's about it...
