No choice on the DHCP server, as that was until recently my only server.
However, that is not my problem, it is acting as a DHCP client on the
external interface that is the problem. Which advanced connection
properties are you referring to? In Network Properties or somewhere in
ISA? This is something I have not looked at.

Have you made sure that the nics are in the right order in the advanced
connection properties.

And why are you running DHCP on the ISA server anyway, Bad Pracctice.
