Tom,
There is only one commerce-site that we are have the problem with.  It is a
secure site that requires a login and account.

Below is the info I received from the sites tech support regarding the
problem.  They seem to agree that it is an IE problem, but also imply that
ISA is somehow compounds the problem:

...There is a reported bug with IE 6 that may be causing the
...hang issue:

...It seems to be more prevalent with IE 6 users with ISA proxy running at
...their site. If the issue were to continue I  suggest that the
...fix be obtained from Microsoft to see if it would resolve the issue.

Hi Don,

Can you give a couple URLs that you cannot connect to? Then I can check 'em
out. I haven't run into this issue yet at any of the sites I've enountered,
so I'm not sure what the problem looks like.

I think it would be nice if the ISA site guru's could look into this
issue
(perhaps with your MS engineering contacts) and find out what is going
on
and recommend a best course of action.

Currently we are using PCs outside ISA to connect to commerce-sites with
this problem. 

Last time I checked, MS did not have a "download patch" (we had to call
them
to get it), and they recommended we wait (if possible) for a fix.
