Best Load Simulation Test Method for ISA

All,
I am looking for the best method to load test ISA, I need to simulate a
couple thousand users accessing the Internet. Has anyone done this? Does
anyone have any configuration data? This is a one time test so I don't need
to purchase third party software.
I saw MS used Polygraph but I'm not a programmer and am not sure how I can
set it up even after reading the docs.
I really need a baseline before I put this into production, any help would
be appreciated!
