Authentication Error 407

Need some expert help please. When I select "Ask unauthenticated users
for identification" on the Outgoing Web Requests tab, I get an error 407
in the log entry for the particular site a program is attempting to logon
to. However, when I unselect this setting, the program works fine. I am
using mixed mode authentication (basic & integrated). I also have ISA SP1
installed. It does not matter which version of IE I use, I get the same
results. Any suggestions or ideas?
