MessagePings are only allowed from the LAT to the Internet or from the LAT to
the DMZ by default.
You have to create packet filters to allow pings in any other direction. Keep
in mind that you'll never ping from Internet (MZ?) to the LAT.

I have implemented a trihomed Isa server on a server in my server farm and i
want to publish a web and an exchange server. I do everything by the book
(keeping the private addresses in the MZ segment in the LAT, enable IP routing
and packet filtering etc.) If i follow the scenario of implementing a trihomed
configuration as suggested by Tom Shinder, and enable the getting started
article of the same author (allowing all access in both directions) I should be
able to ping both from DMZ everywhere and from MZ also. This is not happening.
Please assist me.
