i have ISA working fine with different configurations : using PPPOE connections with adsl modem only and à second external NIC, with à BEWAN modem PCI card acting as a second NIC card, with BEWAN ADSL router which is the best config as providing some firewall functions on the router. in fact all what you need is a second external card and using for exemple adslautoconnect you can be all time connected to internet even with no fix IP. gdumazet -----Message d'origine----- De : Joseph A. I have ameritech DSL that uses PPPOE and I want to use the ISA Server. Will I be able to get this to work. I only have a Linksys Router/Firewall in place now. Do I need to keep this to enable my PPPOE connection. I do have a Static IP address via Ameritech, but I hate their PPPOE service. Please let me know of any tips/tricks I should be looking at in order to get this to work, or if I should just run a demo ISA server on my exisitng LAN. I would really like to setup and configure my ISA Server and use to connect to my home network via VPN and publish a small web/ftp server... I thank you all in advance for your time! I am going to learn ISA Server and try to take the exam in a few months for my last MCSE exam elective....Please contact me direct if you would like at jaxne@xxxxxxxxxxx Joe ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: gdumazet@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ______________________________________________________________________________ ifrance.com, l'email gratuit le plus complet de l'Internet ! vos emails depuis un navigateur, en POP3, sur Minitel, sur le WAP... http://www.ifrance.com/_reloc/email.emailif
