That depends entirely on how you've configured the:
1. SMTP Filter
2. SMTP Filter Alert

Tom has some excellent articles on how to set up the SMTP filter / message
screener on www.isaserver.org/pages/learning%20 zone.htm and the alerts are
pretty simple.

Hi,

Does the SMTP filter alert, alert you of when an email has arrived that
breaks a keyword or attachment rule?

If it does, why is mine not working.

Or does it just warn of command rules that are broken? (That is what the
text says)

If this is the case how do I know when a rule is broken. I know I can
receive and email but are there logs kept anywhere that can be reviewed?

TIA

Nathan
