I had somewhat the same problem. The difference is that the FW Client wouldn't install correctly & i could browse anything with the AOL browser that had to do with AOL...If i tried to open the AOL broswer i couldn't get out.
MY FIX:
I setup the workstation that needed to use AOL as a SecureNAT & Proxy Client. (& Proxy Client for admin purposes). Just give the workstation a static IP and set the default gateway to the ISA static IP. YOU MUST SPECIFY A DNS. If you don't have an internal...just use the one(s) that your ISP gave you. It works perfect. The draw-back is that you will have to restrict the workstation by the IP. If you setup the workstation as a proxy client you can then see who is logged into the machine as well. (In IE -- LAN Settings ... point to the ISA server as your proxy server.) If they open the IE browser ISA will register who is logged-in (you have to have the right settings in ISA as well).

Hope this helps if not ... points you in the right direction...

Irving

P.S.
I still haven't got the Firewall client to work :(
When i install it it gives me an error stating that the client is not the 1st "Layer Service Provider ... LSP"

Has anyone encoutered problems using America Online (Version 6 & 7) with ISA
Server/Win2k Workstations? We can connect to the AOL Service with no
problem using the MS Firewall Client provided with ISA however if you click
on any of the links inside AOL that open up the AOL browser (basicly IE) it
will not find the site. This only happens inside of AOL (for example you
tried to view Stock Quotes, click on the Link and the AOL browser launches).
IE works flawlessly outside of AOL.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
