Hi Amy, Does AOL have it own Web browser? Is the problem that you can't browse the Web using their browser? What you might try is configuring the client as a Firewall client ONLY, as that gives application information in the log, then you can determine what application is trying to bind which ports. The first time they try they get an error message that says a request took longer than expected. After that AOL doesn't even try, you just get a blank page. The AOL support people are no help at this point. Their solution is to disable the firewall. I told them that that was not an acceptable answer. If they would just tell me which port(s) AOL is attempting to use at that point I would handle the firewall configuration from there. Well, I've called twice and got hung up on twice after I explained the problem. So I'm looking in the logs to try to figure out what AOL is doing and I'm not seeing it. I see some blocked UDP ports but that's about it. What exactly should I be looking for and in which log? I'd like to get to the bottom of this. Then I think I'll call AOL tech support and tell them that I have the solution but I'll hang up on them before they can get it from me...
