Hmm, so we can control access by user then. Is there firewall client
doing anything for them then if they aren't authenticating anymore?

Hi Amy,

Now that the HTTP redirector is disabled, the Firewall client
connections won't go through the Web proxy. Make sure you restart the
firewall service after making the changes to the redirector.

Tom

Thanks Tom, I added the IP address to the web client configuration for
direct access, then restarted the ISA Control service. No change, even
the ISA log shows the exact same information. I had to also change the
http redirector.

The change to the http redirector from redirect to web proxy to send
directly to server won't change user access rules, since they are all
firewall clients will it?

Hi Amy,

Configure the required sites for Direct Access or disable the HTTP
redirector or configure it to forward Web requests directly to the
server.

HTH,

Tom
