Hi Marvin,

I see. RRAS only takes 10 at a time, based on need.

You can configure a custom IP address list for VPN clients if you don't
need to assign any special DHCP options to the VPN clients.

HTH,
Tom

Tom

Bad experience in the past where the RRAS service would take up every
available IP in the scope. Was thinking that a separate scope for VPN
clients would be easier to manage.

Thanks

Hi Marvin,

You'd have to configure a custom IP address list, as the DHCP server has
no mechanism to know who's sending the request (I think). However, now
that I think of it, you may be able to use a feature in the Windows DHCP
server that would allow you do this, but I'd have to test it out. Why do
you want to create a separate scope?

Thank!

Tom

Is it possible to have a separate DHCP scope for VPN clients? This one
would be on the same network as the DHCP server. So if

The internal DHCP scope is 10.0.0.10 - 10.0.0.50

The VPN scope will be 10.0.0.90 - 10.0.0.100

Is it possible to configure the DHCP relay agent on the ISA/VPN server
to this scope?

Thanks
