are you running a Wins servers behind the ISA server to do name resolution for your VPN Clients? -----Original Message----- From: Kirk Poser [mailto:kaptinkirk@xxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, November 04, 2001 6:06 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] A little off topic, but related http://www.ISAserver.org VPN Question: I have set up ISA on our work network to allow vpn calls. I have successfully been authenticated from at home with both a WinXP and a 2000 Pro. The problem is I cant seem to connect to any shares on the 2000 machines. When I run IP Config, I am getting an IP address from the work server, but cant get anywhere. If I connect with my laptop which is running Windows XP, I can connect fine and it also seems to resolve DNS, Just not with a 2000 Pro or 2000 Server. When I ping from the 2000 machines, reply times out. Ping from XP, it replies. What setting could I be missing on the 2000 machines that is different than the XP?.
