Hi Dan,

What kind of error page do they get? Do you let them know that they're
being watched? What type of users do you have? Are they not stakeholders
of any kind? They have nothing to lose by violating network security
policy?

Thanks!

Yeah, that wouldn't be a problem if you do it preemptively instead of
waiting for it to crash... Ran into the 2GB limit last Friday, and boy
did that mess things up!

I added in a scheduled task to purge older traffic, but will have to
wait to see how well it works.

I'm not sure if I'd call my users "savy", they're just persistent. When
I run the real-time monitor, I'm amazed at how often they try, over and
over and over again. What is really amusing is when you see them try
getting to a webmail site, then trying every different country's version
of it, then trying variations on the name, etc...

Well, luckily my users aren't as savy as yours...I did the color to Real
Time Monitor awhile ago...nice feature...I change the database one a
month too just because I ran into a similar problem and it slowed the
connection down to almost dial up speed.....we mainly do reports on the
last couple of weeks so it's not a problem to start with a new database
and it keeps things moving...
