You may want to take a look at these Microsoft articles. I have run into
this problem at some locations. It was most often a DNS issue.

We have ISA servers on a routed network, the problem is that our client
95,98 machines with firewall client disconnects and lose the ISA server
name
Can any one tell why and what I must do exactly?
