Hello Walkers:
Before outlining the next walking arrangements, I would like on behalf of
Margaret McGovern, Manager of the NAHVI project, to thank all of you for your
generosity to Theresa's request for sponsorship in the recent women's
mini-marathon. A sum in excess of â1300 was handded over by Theresa to
Margaret last Thursday evening in Donabate. A brand new braille embosser and
scanner has been acquired and the project to produce braille and large print
menus can now get under way for real. Thanks everyone.
Tuesday Walks:
Tuesday 4th July 2006: assemble at the terminus of the No. 10 bus in UCD at
7:30 p.m. for a walk around the campus. You can get a No. 10 outside Budget
Travel near the Gresham or alternatively beside the main gate of Trinity.
Tuesday 11th July: assemble at 7:30 p.m. at Raheny DART Station for a walk on
Dollymount Strand.
Tuesday 18th July: Assemble at Dalkey DART station at 7:30 p.m. for a walk over
Dalkey and Killiney hills.
Tuesday 25th July: Assemble at the No. 10 terminus near the gates of the
Phoenix Park.
Saturday/Sunday 15/16th July - annual Maganey walking weekend.
