Saw earlier think it may have been from the tech meeting re the left to
right swipe gesture which brings you through paragraphs.
I'd never heard of this before and will try it out certainly.
Yes indeed I too have The Journal app but I must see if I can get
notifications from them.
Dublin Live is just about bearable but I do get their notifications no
bother though.

the Journal.ie <http://journal.ie/> app though I do use the “Read article
with VoiceOver†button which they have put at the top, as it cuts out all
of the ads and pictures etc.
I think you were right the first time, swipe up with two fingers is Read All,
and swipe down with two fingers is to read from your current position.
I have customised these gestures though, and use them for heading navigation
instead.

No I wasn't out to get you re your FF comment on Applevis (smile) which
you posted to there going bvack but we all of course are allowed change
our opinions in tech as unfortunately some things do change sadly for
the worst!
Was hoping that I didn't have to go through all the browsers for the
phone so that's why I would have asked for suggestions and opinions here.
So anyway I'll work away with Safari now for a bit longer bearing what I
have learnt here and elsewhere.
Of course all sites even for an iPhone user aren't always accessible too
unfortunately

Dublin Live articles are horrible with VoiceOver in my limited experience

Don'tt use Safari a lot so don't know or can't remember if it happens in
similar situations.
I do swipe up with two fingers to get the reading going by the way.
I have the browser in iPhone mode think it's called.
Could someone remind me about reader view I wwonder does it matter if
it's on or off?

Like Dominique I mostly use Safari. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
are both pretty solid too though.
Microsoft Edge in particular seems to be getting quite popular.
I personally don’t really like Firefox, and find it can be buggy.
